Who operates this site

WorldTimely (worldtimely.com) is operated by Luxcron, LLC.

We do not publish a postal address. Privacy questions go to the email address below, or through the contact page.

Accounts and personal information

You do not need an account. The tools do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or postal address.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not keep a database of users.

If you email us, we receive the address you write from and the message you send. We use that only to reply or to handle the request you made, such as a correction or a privacy request.

What the site stores on your device

The tools save preferences in your browser with localStorage. Those values stay on your device. WorldTimely does not upload that saved list to its own server.

The site does not set its own cookies for these preferences. You can remove them by clearing site data for worldtimely.com in your browser.

If you use Share, the cities you picked and an optional time are placed in the page address so you can copy a link. We do not store that link on a server.

• timesync-user-data — the cities you add, your default time zone, and display settings: 12- or 24-hour time, a dark-mode flag, language, whether seconds are shown, and the start and end of working hours, plus a last-updated timestamp.
• darkMode — your light or dark theme.
• timesync-language — your interface language, such as en, zh, or zh-TW.
• recent-timezones — up to five time-zone ids you recently selected.

Time zone detection

To choose a starting city, the site reads the time zone your browser reports through the standard JavaScript Intl API (for example America/New_York or Asia/Shanghai).

If the browser does not report a usable time zone, the site may request https://ipapi.co/json/. That call sends your IP address to ipapi.co so it can suggest an approximate location. The result is used only to pick a default city. It is not used to create an account.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-1ZS1SMTZY9, to understand aggregate use of the site, such as which pages are opened.

Google Analytics may set cookies and receive technical details such as browser type, an approximate region, and the page address. We do not use it to collect your name or email address.

Clarity is not tied to a WorldTimely account. The site does not have accounts.

Children's privacy

WorldTimely is a general time-zone tool. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child has emailed us personal information, write to us and we will delete that message.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the Last updated date at the top of this page. The updated policy applies from that date.
